Last fall, YouTube surpassed Yahoo! as the world’s second most-used search engine (Google is number one). It makes sense, therefore, for the university, its programs, and departments to have well-maintained channels on YouTube, especially since people are already posting videos about UC Davis on the video sharing site, and since you’ll likely want users to see “official” content near the top of the search rankings.
